Effect of Authentic Leadership Training Program of Head Nurses on Creativity and Motivation of Nurses Staff

Background: Leadership influences staff nurse's creativity and motivation thus, leaders play a critical role in enabling supporting the awakening fostering of creativity of nurses. Employees present high levels when they are motivated. Aim: To measure effectiveness authentic leadership training program on nurses' motivation. Subjects Methods: A quasi- experimental research design was utilized, including all head nurses (36) nurses (246) who were worked same unit Specialized Medical Hospital, Mansoura University, Egypt. self-administered questionnaire four scales for Authentic leadership style knowledge questionnaire, Authentic self-assessment scale, Creativity scale, Motivation scale. Results: there an improved response related to the post-program implemented, motivational creativity levels increased after program style. This increase persists three months program. There is highly statistically significant difference total score three times implemented. Conclusions: Head Nurses, had good knowledge about leadership, showed and motivation, which enhance organization's success. Recommendations: An authentic leadership educational recommended to be recognized implemented all head management position nursing field other hospitals as needed.
